CSSP Developing New Training Program for Civilian Clinicians

CSSP has begun to develop suicide prevention training for civilian clinicians serving service members and their families. This training emphasizes a deliberate and innovative rural outreach strategy as a part of that effort. CSSP has also begun work with several organizations who practice telepsychiatry to provide mental health services to solve the workforce shortage problem that directly affects access to care, especially in remote and under-served areas.
