CSSP Submits Proposals to Wounded Warrior Project

January 16, 2013

CSSP submitted two (2) Letters of Interest (LOI) and was asked to submit full proposals to the Wounded Warrior Project.  The first proposal is to assist the Wounded Warrior Project in the mapping of wounded warriors down to the community level to help with their community engagement efforts.  The second proposal is to build a two-track online course on Suicide Prevention.  The registrant would self identify during the registration process and be directed to content designed for an individual Service member, Veteran or Family member confronting the issues of depression and thoughts of suicide.  The second track is for clinicians to get a better understanding of the issues confronting this population and provide them training as part of their practice and continuing education requirements.  The course would be free to all registrants and would cover the cost of continuing education credits. A decision is expected in March.
